Information We Do Not Collect

How We Use Information

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with the service providers needed to run the game:

These providers may process data on servers located outside your country.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your game progress is retained as long as your account remains active. You can request deletion of your saved data and player ID at any time — see Request Account Deletion below, or contact us using the email at the bottom of this page.

Children's Privacy

Sylly Words does not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described above (a Play Games ID and gameplay data, both handled by Google's own account systems). We do not collect names, emails, or precise location from any user, regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.

Delete Your Account or Data — Sylly Words

This section explains how to request deletion of your account and game data, what gets deleted, what's kept, and how long it takes.

⏳ 30-day grace period: After you submit a request, we wait 30 days before permanently deleting anything. This gives you time to change your mind — just reply to our confirmation email and we'll cancel the request. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Request Deletion

  1. Fill out the form below, or email us directly at (see exactly what to include further down).
  2. We'll reply within a few days to confirm we've received your request and match it to your account.
  3. Your data is deleted after the 30-day grace period described above.
  4. We'll send a final email once deletion is complete.

Request Deletion

Found in the Play Games app under your profile, or in Sylly Words' pause menu.

This opens your email app with a pre-filled message to syllywordsinfo@gmail.com — you'll still need to hit send.

What to Include If You Email Us Directly

If you'd rather not use the form, just email syllywordsinfo@gmail.com with:

What Gets Deleted, What's Kept

Request typeDeletedKept
Full account deletion Your Firestore progress (levels, stars, coins, streaks, unlocked cosmetics), your anonymous Firebase Auth ID, and the link between your Play Games ID and our records. Nothing on our end. Note: this doesn't delete your actual Google Play Games or Google account — that's managed by Google, not us. Google Play may also retain purchase receipts per its own policies, independent of our systems.
Game data only Your levels, stars, coins, streaks, and unlocked cosmetics are reset to zero/default. Your account link (Play Games ID / anonymous ID) stays active so you can keep playing and syncing progress going forward.

In both cases, we retain the request itself (your email and what you asked for) for a short period after completion, solely to have a record that we honored it if you ever ask us to confirm.

Requesting Data Deletion Without Deleting Your Account

You don't have to delete your whole account to clear your data. Use the form above and choose "Just my game data — keep my account". This resets your progress and cosmetics while keeping you signed in, so you can start fresh without losing your Play Games connection.
